I can recommend Dan without hesitation to anyone looking for a wedding or event photographer.
Early on he met with us over video to help get a sense of what we were looking for. We didn't really know, but he walked us through it, and helped us feel ready.
On the day of, he went above and beyond the role of photographer. The groom was having suit troubles and was late to the shoot, but Dan kept me distracted with some fun pictures. During the height of the evening he took us aside for some outdoor shots which amounted to precious time together - I don't think we would have had a moment just to ourselves otherwise!
He was subtle during the ceremony and made clear he was available throughout the night for requests. Most important, he was great at getting us all to laugh, and that really shows.
We are so happy we picked Dan. Thank you many times over!!

Our experience with Daniel was nothing short of perfect. My wife and I were married just the two of us, the officiant and Daniel snapping pictures the whole time. We then went to Maymont to take some post wedding photos where we realized that it was the Saturday before Easter. They were holding a ticketed event but Daniel spoke to someone who worked with Maymont, told them our situation and they agreed to let us in if we bought tickets. My wife and I had no cash on us and Daniel ended up paying for us to get in. I just feel like the entire time he went above and beyond to make sure that we were so happy with our photos which we absolutely were! I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a wonderful photographer that will make your experience unique, fun and something you won’t forget (and not just because you have photos of the day)!

[Dan] was the photographer for our wedding in May of 2025 and we are both very happy with that choice. We mostly planned our wedding on our own (while working and going to school) so a lot of the steps of planning the wedding felt overwhelming but Dan was so easy and fun to work with that it made it a lot easier and felt like part of the team. He met with us early on and actually tried to get to know us as people and make sure he was a good fit to work with us and had excellent communication throughout the process and even checking in shortly before the wedding on a personal level about nerves and worries. Every interaction and including on the day of the event he is a joy to be around and his personality exudes positivity and spreads to everyone around.
Very important of course is that the quality of his work matches this and all of his photos are stunning and were exactly what we hoped for in terms of quality and style.
We enjoyed him so much, and other people at the wedding became friends with him too, that shortly after another family member hired him again for a large family gathering.
I'd give more stars if I had them.
