What about your experience?

I've been doing this 6 years now...
And I was passing drinks and bussing tables at a catering company for 3 years before that. Inevitably that means learning little things about the wedding industry along the way. In 2025, after being full time for year, I realized there were 3 core ideas I wanted to put first as a small business.
Transparency
I say it all the time - we've had to get used to living in a scam economy. Your wedding day isn't a toaster that was 1/8th the size of its online product listing though. It's a massive financial investment, and I'd be a fool not to appreciate that. So no questions are off the table; if you'd appreciate talking to past clients or want to know why I price things the way I do, I'm here to help alleviate worry.
Authenticity
Most people aren't used to having a camera track them for an entire day, and that's probably a good thing! My job is to meet you where you are, not assume you have modeling experience. That's why having consultations ahead of time is so crucial; we'll take time to talk about your guests, your relationships, and what you're most excited for. Even though it's just a bit of prep, it'll help me predict the best candid moments... and you can tell me if you do want a few glamorous posed shots.
Artistic Enthusiasm
Saying "every wedding is unique" isn't just some marketing jargon. The opportunity to capture a different experience for each wedding is what makes the job fun. That's why I set up style consultations to help tailor my approach to your preferences. We'll talk through your inspiration board so I can get to the why of why you are drawn to different photos. Whether you've already got a theme in mind or you have no clue what you want, we'll get to the bottom of it.
Here's what I bring to the table
My Experience
I've been working in the wedding industry for close to 7 years now - first as a caterer during undergrad, now as photographer and videographer for the past 4. I know how to handle little day-of crises. I've worked 13-hour days, and I've been told many a time that I was a calming presence on someone's big, crazy day. That's all to say that I personally love the balance of improvised adjustments and heartfelt moments that is the wedding industry.
My Demeanor
For decades the industry standard has been a silent photographer dressed in black. I've had much more success flipping that idea on its head. I wear wedding guest attire, and I talk and interact with your friends and family. That way, when it comes to the bigger moments, they're already comfy with me - and hopefully laughing!
My Eye
My goal is always to bring a true artistic flair to your wedding gallery. What that means is that most of my shots are candid, wide, and focused on being the "eyes" of the party. But when I get little chances, I'll find a subject and take the time to tweak my composition.
